Non-compliance of traffic rules… disaster for the family

About a week ago, for no fault of theirs, six of a family died after their car they were travelling in collided with an empty bus coming from the wrong side in the fastest—overtaking—lane of the Delhi-Meerut expressway. The deceased Husband & wife were aged 45 & 42, their two children aged 17 and 14, their close relatives aged 37 & 8. In addition, two of their relatives aged 40 & 6 were sent to hospital, for treatment.

Officials found that a total of 17 challans have already been issued against the bus since 2018 for many offences including disobedience of any direction lawfully given by the authority, over-speeding etc. Above happening is testimony of the fact that due to Non-compliance of traffic /road rules for meagre reasons, life threatening mishaps are happened, at times.

Hope all of us wish to live and cherish happy moments with our families and friends. Let’s take pledge and start following all traffic/road rules, from now onwards. Authorities are also requested to take pledge and do their work diligently for providing safer roads, infrastructure to ensure accident free travels and act sternly against the defaulters. Habitual defaulters must not be allowed to drive any type of vehicle, on any road, so that such disastrous incidents don’t happen in future.

Seeking your attention for understanding and making sincere efforts ensuring safety of all…….VM
