A woman scooterist died after being hit by a bike that was reportedly being driven on the wrong side of the road by three men in Phase 2, Mohali, on last Sunday at around 5 P.M. The victim was accompanied by her daughter on scooter. After the collision, she fell on the road and suffered a fatal head injury. She was rushed to the local civil hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Life of above victim could have been saved, if driving on wrong side of road is strictly NO in our country.
Govt. Authorities need to take stern actions on all kind of violators of traffic rules, if we want to lower down number of road fatalities, in India.
