Yesterday, there was the news that in a tragic accident that took place in Lakhimpur kheri in Uttar Pradesh yesterday whereby the truck driver lost control of the vehicle and mowed down a group that had gathered on the road following a minor collision between a car and a scooter, they said. Five people died on the spot and a 17-year-old boy, succumbed to injuries during treatment at a hospital. The deceased were of the age group ranging from 14 to 85. As per sources, two more persons were critically injured in the road accident.
It is time to recognize safety on road, lest it is too late to save our ownself and our dear ones. Always keep self safety in mind while taking care of others at any moment, while on road. Don’t depend on others for your safety. In above case, carelessness for self safety took a great toll of lives of many persons. Lets spread the words of safety to the maximum, we can.

I had read this news, VM. Thanks for reminding it. Carelessness of even a fraction of second is disastrous. The driver should always be cautious of what is ahead on the road. Loss of lives could be saved, if we are alert.

Safety of ourselves must be the priority. If everyone would care about their safety on road, then road accidents will be reduced at much extent.
