Below are the photos captured about a week ago at Radha Soami Chowk on Airport Road, Mohali at morning office hours. If you have been / daily commuter having it on your way, you must be knowing well the accident proneness of this chowk.
Do YOU cross such road intersections, the way shown persons have been crossing. If YES, you must correct yourself and follow safe practice of cross road intersection through zebra crossing, if there. Our present generation must understand that zebra crossing is the facility and safe area earmarked for crossing the road. Non-adherence of safe crossing practices may lead to fatal consequences, which any family can not afford to happen.
It is also important to understand that crossing of road / intersection is not always related to pedestrians. Crossing road / intersection may be required, even to move to other side of road or to come back to your vehicle.
