Below are photo and video captured at red light signal at Radha Soami chowk on Airport road in Mohali, during morning office hours about a week’s ago.
With ‘chalta hai’ attitude of motorists, here of the autorickshaw driver, jumping red light signal and people halting their vehicle beyond zebra crossing and ignorant approach by traffic authorities may sometimes result into fatal consequences. Road users who use this crossing, are well aware of the fact that there is one authority’s post functioning at this crossing and this site is accident prone.
Authorities should have proactive approach to deal with such offenders. Such violations must not be considered as granted. Authorities must impose heavy penalty for such casual approaches of driving, endangering lives of self, occupants and other road users, moving there at that time.
Seeking your kind attention for understanding the above issue and hope you would follow all traffic rules and share such incidence to local Authorities, in order to ensure safe of one and all….VM

Such irresponsible behaviour on the roads may prove fatal, and must be avoided.
