Authorities need to maintain marking on roads on regular basis, especially zebra crossings to have required visibility which give due cushion to avoid collision of vehicles at road crossings. The markings must be repainted as and when required, without waiting for directions after happening of any untoward incident.
You need to take note of zebra crossings and must stop before them at red light signal, for safety of self and others around.
Absolutely agree. The zebra crossing is meant for pedestrian safety, but its purpose is greatly reduced when the markings become faded or unclear. Regular maintenance and repainting of road markings should therefore be an essential part of traffic management. 🚦
