Above photos were taken around a road coming out from a big residential colony, meeting on Sirhind Mohali road, near Landran Chowk. The speed breakers have been installed in staggered way, here.
First 3 photos have been taken today morning to make the accident (shown by last 2 photos) happened around 2 weeks ago on same section of road, understand well. You must notice here that the person who already know about this speed breaker, try to drive his/her vehicle bypassing it (being of half width)
Towards Zero Accident 
If everyone follows the road safety rules there will be no accidents.

Yes one should , i have seen on speed breakers there is small plane on side berm of road . It seems to be used by bikers to avoid hump .
It is rather more risky.

Speed breakers on road should never be ignored and vehicle must be slowed down to prevent any such accident or mishap on road. Very informative post👍🏻

One should not ignore the purpose of speed breakers in any case. Accident will only be minimised when we, as road users, will co-operate with government safety norms.

Speed Breakers must be put by authorities too by taking care of its height and painted them well so that they could be seen to every one at safe distance.

It will definitely be good if Authorities do their part with due diligence. Till they do the rectification, all of us need to be aware and not to change lane on road only to bypass any speed breaker. Thank you Vivek for participative comments🙏

This is a beautiful post, VM, as I too feel that broken speed breakers may cause accident rather than saving it, as people tend to pass through broken parts. In fact, some mischievous persons deliberately cut a part of speed breaker for smooth driving. This is a misconceived idea that must be discouraged by all.

I have seen people ignoring or wrongly treating speed breakers, which may give serious outcomes.
