Lighting on road, matters…

Below are the photos taken yesterday around 8 PM near Landran Chowk in Mohali

Kharar Banur National Highway
Landran – Mohali State Highway

It is evident from above that neither concerned Authorities nor public are aware about the adverse consequences of not having adequate lighting on roads. There is no light even near narrow down road around bridge. Also, the lights on installed poles near the chowk are not functioning. Drivers of vehicles are driving at high beam.

As the result of such conditions, number of accidents happen in India. If Government is really concerned about reducing number of accidents substantially, adequate lighting on road is must have prerequisite. All persons driving motorised vehicle must be aware of ill-effects of driving at high beam and must follow low beam, for convenience of people driving in opposite direction, appropriately.

Wish you would understand it and follow low beam driving at places, required to do so. Concerned authorities need to provide adequate lighting on all motorable roads. They should rise from doing limited awareness and must carry mass level awareness, that too on continuous basis.

Seeking YOUR attention for understanding the above issue and to make sincere efforts ensuring safety of ALL ……VM
