Consciousness is to see the unforseen.
Highways have uplifted the lifestyle of small towns dwellers in a good way. All the facilities pertaining to medical, education, profession etc. have been available a few minutes driving distance from any town through easy approach of good quality highways. This has happened due to increased safety and speed on good quality highways.
All classes of families possess vehicles as per their comfort and the easy finances by banking institutions. Increased number of vehicles, and increased to-and-fro traffic between towns require it compulsive to acquire traffic consciousness.
Few days ago in the morning, seeing this gentle lady riding a two wheeler on the extreme right lane which is supposed to be high-speed lane, astonished a friend of mine. As elaborated by him, she was to take right turn, under the over-bridge which was around 5 km away from the captured location.
How correct is to take that much risk instead of crossing the road after traveling most of the distance in left (safer) lane and crossing the road at the right spot, at appropriate distance before the turn?
Hope YOU would have understood the point of consciousness for safety on road. I would like to acknowledge the concern expressed by my friend, much younger to me, for safety of people on road.

Towards Zero Accident 
One must always be at safer side while driving. In case of any miss-happening, blaming others will not make the things right. Rationale decisions are much important to be taken on road.

Such type of short cuts and wrong side driving in an effort to save some fuel are main factors of unfortunate accidents It must be avoided

Driving on correct lane should be encouraged. One must be widely awake while driving any vehicle on road. Its much better to drive on the safer side rather than hasty driving.

This is a good point raised by you. As per data released recently by NCRB, there were 155622 deaths due to road accidents in India in 2021. And the main reason is सावधानी हटी दुर्घटना घटी, despite so many awareness campaigns. People forget that saving some time or distance is going to cost the life.
