“Punjab: मुक्तसर में सड़क हादसे में भाई-बहन की मौत, छोटे भाई भी हालत गंभीर, बाइक पर स्कूल जा रहे थे तीनों” ….might be a news for many, but it needs attention of one and all. It has happened couple of days ago.
Courtesy: News agencies
All the 3 were innocent lives. One of the deceased was 15 years age, driving the bike and other, his sister was aged 12. Their eight-year-old brother suffered multiple injuries. Preliminary investigation showed that the truck driver was speeding.
Underage driving of scooter/bike/car coupled with speeding, uncaring attitude of transport drivers may result fatal accidents, which must be checked and discouraged, rather stopped. Undoubtedly, every family wants to live happily with its child/children.
YOU also must not allow children below 18 of age to drive any motorized vehicle. Drivers of transport vehicles must restrain speed during school timings (morning/ afternoon) even outside the cities/towns/villages.
Spread these words to all your friends, colleagues and relatives, so that there will not happen any untoward incident to any child in any family not only in India, rather in the world. Let the sacrifice of these children would prove an eye opener and help in saving lives of children of many other families.
Seeking your kind cooperation to understand it and act with positive approach towards ZERO Accident….VM
Being Road Safety Propagator, I am putting my best efforts to do all possible to avert road accidents and will continue same ......towards zero accident.

Pathetic 🥺. We should be very careful. Children should never be allowed to drive .
Thank you, Padmaja for your understanding and consistent support for this mission 🙏

Thank you, VM, for bringing up this issue, but it’s not one-off case. In a similar case, a Srinagar court sentenced the father of minor son to three years in jail with a fine of Rs.25000 in terms of Section 199-A of MV Act. So father is more responsible than children. Moreover, such a notice should also be displayed in schools as a warning to minor students.
Yes, it is not one-off case. But, I wished to share this case at this platform as an eye opener so that it can further be shared to multiple contacts. With same, lives of many innocents can be saved. Your mentioned incidence is quite relatable and acceptable.
Kaushal ji, your idea of displaying notice in schools may prove to be beneficial. Thank you🙏
Parents are more responsible for any mishap to their children by allowing them driver two wheelers or four wheelers on the main road They should be be very strict for not allowing them to take such type of adventure lest they repent afterwards
You have mentioned it well that Parents are more responsible for such cases. They must be strict and they may take help of child’s school for counsilling their child for not to drive motorized vehicles before 18 years of age. Thank you, Jag Mohan ji, for your participative remarks 🙏
Yes, it will be sorrowful happening for children’s family.
Your understanding and participation at this platform is always encouraging, this time too. Thank you, Purnima🙏
Really sad. Wished such incidents wouldn’t happen again. That’s why I requested all at this platform to share it all their extended contacts. Spreading the words for safety will definitely be beneficial to many people n their children.
Ignoring the govt. guidelines, coupled with indifferent attitude towards safety of others may result fatalities. Every needs to understand it and act responsibly. Thank you, Anagha.

Absolutely! Underage driving is illegal. Parents should discourage their children to drive before 18.
