The Vision Zero is the Swedish approach to road safety thinking. It can be summarized in one sentence: “No loss of life is acceptable”. This initiative has led to a halving of deaths on Swedish roads.
But here in India, such people👇 need to change their mindset …towards safety, for what Govt. Authorities can not be blamed. Respect to zebra crossing at any red light signal is mandatory step to ensure safety. Everyone must take safety as the top priority over anything else.

Seeking your kind cooperation to understand it and act with positive approach towards ZERO Accident….VM
True… Zebra crossing is just like a piece hanging on road.. With no value.. As far as i’ve observed

That’s true! People just ignore road markings wheather it’s zebra crossing or dividing lanes. Everyone must understand the meaning of each road marking.

Thank you for mentioning vision zero approach that has been followed now by many countries like New Zealand. Our casual approach to traffic rules and symbols is causing havoc in terms of loss of life and limbs.

Yes, your emphasizing remarks will remind many to improve upon. Many people copy western countries for modernity in dressing, styles etc. Rather, we should learn and practice better ways for safety, from them.
Thank you Kaushal ji.
